Fabienne Dür

Fabienne Dür is a Berlin-based playwright, director and playwright, who is collaborating with the Zimmertheater Tübingen for the 2024-25 season. She earned a degree in theater arts and German philology at the Free University of Berlin, and went on to study stage writing at the Berlin University of the Arts. Her first play, Gelbes Gold, was performed in several German cities and translated into Berner dialect for the Theater Matte in Bern. In 2022, she wrote Luft nach oben oder Game over, her first show for children. For these two plays, she was named the Best Young Author for 2023 by Theater Heute Jarhbuch. She has also been nominated in the “young audience” category for the Austrian literature prize the 2025 Retzhofer Dramapreis.
