Located on the first floor of the library with Polish literature, this space features a selection of works from Jan Michalski’s private collection, a portal on the Cold War publishing activities of Polish writers in exile, including the complete collection of the monthly magazine Kultura, which was published by the Institut littéraire in Paris, as well as various underground Polish publications and their miniature editions designed to be more easily smuggled to the other side of the Iron Curtain.
